Kamyar Kafaie

About

Born: July 1979, Tehran, Iran

A self-taught visual artist, Kamyar Kafaie’s work explores social and historical narratives through a satirical lens. His detailed, often caricature-inspired style employs acrylic and ink on canvas, blending humor with critical commentary. Influenced by his architect father and master painter Mahmoud Javadipour, Kafaie’s practice reflects a lifelong engagement with art as a means of dissent and introspection.
