The human figures, which began their journey with body prints titled “Beyond and Above” about ten years ago, now rest alongside their complementary sculptures in “Embodiment”. Sometimes powerful, bold, and deliberate, and sometimes under pressure and with great burden, they have inevitably found a new existence. What simmers inside us, flows through all the layers of our changing body. Skin, as the outermost layer of the body – like a work of art – communicates with the outside world. In contact with the skin on an external surface such as paper or fabric, an unrepeatable and unique image, with help of paint and ink, is recorded in the moment, which may vastly differ from the actual shape of our body.
