Fatemeh Bahman Siyahmard

About

Fatemeh Bahman Siyahmard was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1981. From the very beginning, she showed her interest in art by spending a lot of time painting. She obtained her mathematics diploma and an operational degree in literature graphics from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance studies and medium center in 2000. In 2005, she became a member of the “Abi Bikaran Honar” art group and participated in numerous group exhibitions.
In 2014, she became a member of the “Promotion of visual arts” institute, and she won first place by attending many workshops and appeals. For example, she won first place in a painting competition at the Tehran International fair in 2006.
In 2014, she started to write about arts by writing her first article called (business, Art economies, and transactions business). Later she published a lot of notes and articles in cooperation with artistic publications such as Pajouhesh Honar (journal of educational research and analytical), Tandis (visual art magazine and website), Honar Agah (contemporary art magazine), Honar Online (Iran’s art news agency) and Iranian visual art critics association’s website.
In 2016, she became a member of visual art writers and critics. She published her first critical article, “The Artificial Intelligence Cut out One of His Ears,” on the group’s website.
In 2014, she became a member of the video artist group. Fatemeh Bahman’s video art has been selected by numerous video festivals, including the 2nd and 3rd video art festivals and the 12th and 13th Tasvir film festivals in Iran.
Participating in a group exhibition at the professional center of video artist in Milan, Italy, in 2014 and 2016 and participating in the video art group exhibition (Eco avant-garde) at the Kunsthalle museum of contemporary Hungarian fine arts in 2016 are included as her career in video arts until now. In 2021, she was the Winner of the Macro-Micro painting competition in Turin, Italy.
